The 'AAtölye' project, or the 'Anadolu Agency Multi-Purpose Broadcasting and Event Studio,' is located in the Ankara Headquarters of Anadolu Agency. Completed within a 2-month design and a 5-month construction process, the existing conference room was innovatively redesigned to support multiple functions.

The space, created from scratch based on 'broadcast design,' now includes areas that can transform into a broadcast studio, director and podcast rooms, a greenbox, and a concert or seminar hall, creating a multifunctional interior scenario. While preserving the outer shell, the interior was completely demolished and rebuilt to utilize the single-volume height through structural openings and geometric forms. Comprehensive mathematical calculations were made to transform the area into a versatile space without altering its form.

The design prioritizes user-demanded spatial needs, creating a transformable atelier/studio without wall divisions. This required integrating multiple disciplines, including movable platforms hidden within the floor, adjustable in height for various uses (event, concert, conference, training, AA Talks, broadcast programs), and mechatronic infrastructures that allow the broadcasting table to level with the floor when needed.

To effectively use heights, a mezzanine floor was added where height permitted, serving as a viewer balcony. To ensure aesthetic flow and continuity, curvilinear circulation paths were designed for the architectural and interior areas, including director and podcast rooms. Acoustic calculations and designs were implemented for walls and ceilings to accommodate all functions of the space.
