The Istanbul Headquarters and Open Office Project of Anadolu Agency is an interior design project for a structure covering a total construction area of 15,000 square meters. It includes 3 basement floors, a ground floor, and 12 additional floors. The design and planning process commenced when only the exterior facade had been completed, while the interior of the building was still in the rough construction phase. As a result, the entire design was developed within the framework of a shell and core structure.
The interior design concept of the building aimed primarily to embody the institution's prestige and innovative vision. It not only focused on architectural solutions but also enhanced these solutions with technological and infrastructural elements aligned with Broadcast Design regulations.
The Executive Management Floor showcases a minimalist aesthetic, with a harmonious blend of light gray tones on matte and glossy surfaces.
This is complemented by refined American walnut furnishings and neutral brown textile-based vinyl decorative wallpapers, creating an atmosphere of elegance.
As an architectural planning, the management offices were strategically positioned along the facade line of the floor. The central feature, a spacious waiting area known as the "glass bubble," adorned with live plants, promotes a serene ambiance and facilitates circulation. A skylight spanning two floors, featuring a curvilinear staircase, adds structural intrigue, enhancing the floor's minimalist charm.
Open-plan office floors prioritize a modern, transparent work environment. Functional and spatial delineations are achieved through platforms and permeable custom-made furniture, fostering a serene and luminous ambiance with light gray tones and subtle wooden accents. Each floor is assigned a distinct color, creating a unique identity while adhering to the overarching design language. The 1st Basement and Ground Floors aim to provide architectural solutions while accommodating floor heights up to 5.50 meters. Curvilinear custom-made furniture and integrated design elements ensure dynamic, versatile, and functional communal spaces. These floors echo the minimalist aesthetic of the Executive Floor, with light gray tones dominating both matte and glossy surfaces, complemented by occasional wooden accents. Extensive landscaping further enhances these spaces by seamlessly incorporating live plants into the interior environment.
